SOHO Holdings Group Expands Global Presence with New Subsidiary in Middle East

Abu Dhabi, UAE | March 10, 2023 - Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group Co., Ltd. marked a significant milestone in its globalization strategy today with the inauguration of its Middle East subsidiary at the China-UAE (United Arab Emirates) Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone. The ceremony witnessed speeches by Zhu Lian, Minister-Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in UAE; Zhou Yong, Chairman of SOHO Holdings Group; Mohamed Ghareeb, Chief Experience Officer of Abu Dhabi's Khalifa Economic Zone; and Zou Yonggang, Chairman of Jiangsu Overseas Cooperation & Investment Company. The event culminated in a signing ceremony presided over by Li Ming, Vice President of SOHO Holdings Group.

Strategic Expansion

Zhou Yong, Chairman of SOHO Holdings Group, emphasized the group's commitment to China's Belt and Road Initiative: "Our Middle East subsidiary represents a strategic move to establish a comprehensive service platform integrating international trade, automotive sales, and logistics in this global commercial hub. This expansion will inject new vitality into both the Khalifa Economic Zone and China-UAE Industrial Park through diversified, high-quality services."

Synergistic Partnership

Zou Yonggang, Chairman of Jiangsu Overseas Cooperation & Investment Company, acknowledged SOHO's choice to locate in the demonstration zone, pledging continued operational enhancements to support tenant enterprises. 

Mohamed Ghareeb, Chief Experience Officer of Abu Dhabi's Khalifa Economic Zone, expressed enthusiasm for deepening collaboration in emerging sectors including cross-border e-commerce, AI, and green technologies.

Diplomatic Endorsement

Minister-Counsellor Zhu Lian hailed the launch as "a testament to deepening China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnerships," urging SOHO to leverage supply chain strengths while fostering local community integration. The Chinese Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating bilateral cooperation.

Significant Contracts Signed

SOHO Tianhong Automobile Group has engaged in operational collaboration and signed letters of intent for strategic cooperation agreements with ONE ROAD GROUP, SHANGHAI ORIGIN VEHICLE SERVICE GROUP and WOLINK PTE. LTD. The ceremony saw multiple subsidiary-level agreements inked with international partners, covering automotive, medical equipment, and plywood trade cooperation. These accords build on Jiangsu Province's thriving economic exchanges with UAE, where SOHO's UAE-bound exports have shown robust growth.

Platform for Future Growth

As a flagship BRI project endorsed by both nations' leadership, the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone now hosts SOHO's strategic initiatives to:  

- Establish automotive service ecosystems encompassing sales and aftermarket services  

- Develop cross-border logistics infrastructure including overseas warehouses  

- Facilitate bilateral trade in premium textiles, renewable energy equipment, and specialty Middle Eastern goods
